POROLUX Revo

The POROLUXTM Revo is a gas liquid displacement porometer that determines pore sizes based on the pressure step stability method. This means that a data point is only accepted on the condition that the user-defined stability algorithms for pressure and flow are met. The POROLUXTM Revo detects the opening of a pore at a certain pressure and waits until all pores of the same diameter are completely opened before accepting the data point. This method results in a very accurate pore size measurement and allows to calculate the true pore size distribution Therefore, the POROLUXTM Revo can be found in many R&D labs to characterize materials with complex pore structures of, amongst others, polymeric membranes (flat sheets and hollow fibers), ceramic membranes and porous metals.
